Duke Map Info: ClubA bit historyI just started building "Club". If you tried my other maps, you'll probably agree that I'm a pretty good builder, but what I'm planning to make in "Club" still seems me extremly hard. I just can say that if I manage to do what I've planned, "Club" will be MUCH BETTER than all my other maps, DukeCity included !!!For now, the map only has 2-3 sectors, but all the "paper planning" is done. 12.1.1997 Some more sectors added, first rooms nearly finished. Big problems coming ahead ! 14.1.1997 Map has grown to 88k, first building finished, I'm working on the outside landscape. The first building needed a lot of sectors/walls and that's a big problem because I probably won't be able to put all the details I wanted. 24.2.1997 The map is now 100k in size. I added two screenshots, one being a "real-3D" shot. 2.3.1997 Holidays starting today ! I'll try to finish "Club" within next week... 21.3.1997 Started working on Club again. First time since 2.3.97. The Build-spirit is back !! ;) Map grown to 110k, added details + lot of sprites. Think it'll need a P200 to run smoothly in 640x480 or 800x600. 24 march 97 I added some very cool things ! Map was playtested in dukematch during 6 hours and is very fun to play, even in 320x200 (which is recommended for maximum frame rate). The size now reaches 220k (double as last time!!) 16 april 97 Club 97 is finished !! Get it NOW ! 2 may 97 Club screenshots
