"In the year 20XX AD, the world is at peace thanks to MegaMan. Dr.Wily's fourth attempt at world domination has failed and his name has once again faded from the minds of the citizens of the world. A few months later..." [MegaMan walks, but suddenly a robot appears (it is Terra)]
T: "So, you are the famous MegaMan! I am Terra - and you will soon be my slave!" [MegaMan fires at Terra, but it has no effect]
M: "What?! My mega-buster has no effect on him" [MegaMan gets hit by Terra]
"A few hours later. The world was attacked by warrior robots from space." [MegaMan wakes up]
M: "Where am I?"
"Dr.Light found MegaMan and equipped him with the new 'Mega-Arm', the most powerful weapon ever devised. Why have the stardroids come here!?" [MegaMan speaks with Dr.Light]
D.L: "MegaMan, our world is once again in chaos, the alien robots call themselves 'Stardroids' and have conquered most our major cities. They are constructed of alien material which render our weapons useless. But, I have done some analysis and constructed a new weapon for you. It will replace your super mega buster. It is called the 'Mega-Arm' and it allows you to charge energy in your fist before you fire it. I have also created a new assistant for you. His name is 'Tango', I'll enhance this item replicator to make powerful items for you. Collect as many P chips as possible and return to my lab to exchange them for power-up items. Good luck, MegaMan." story from the game-intro

First GameBoy MegaMan not using NES bosses. Mega-Buster is replaced with the Mega-Arm (used in the same way). Beat (the bird) is replaced with 'Tango the Cat' (used in the same way). As in GB MM4 you can collect P chips to buy items.

Tips'n'tricks Because of the weapons needed to kill each of the robots, I recommend playing the levels in this order : 1) Neptune, 2) Mercury, 3) Mars, 4) Venus (but all 4 robots can easily be killed using mega-arm. I played Mercury, Mars, Venus, Neptune) If you lose all your lives three times in the same level Dr. Light will upgrade your Mega-Arm. Collect the P chips to buy items at Dr.Light's lab (see Items/Tools section for more).

	Dark Moon Well, it's the good old "yellow-robot" again (seen in Nes MM 1 & 3). Use Mega-Arm to hit him in the eye.
Back to Dr.Light's lab Dark Moon is dead, you go back to Dr.Light's lab, and he has some news : -Dr.L: Welcome back, MegaMan! I've just discovered some shocking news. The Stardroids have been using the resources from earth to create an even more powerful generation of robots. If they launch an all-out attack now, we'll be easily defeated. I'm not sure what to do. -MM: Dr.Light, we need to strike now! If you can transform Rush for space travel, we can try a surprise attack and wipe them out. -Dr.L: ..... OK. I'll start modifying Rush abd give him some extra firepower. This may take some time, so why don't you go exchange your P chips for items. - picture Once Rush is ready you fly high up, and reach space... - pic #1 pic #2

Tips'n'tricks Because of the weapons needed to kill each of the robots, I recommend playing the levels in this order : 1) Jupiter, 2) Saturn, 3) Pluto, 4) Uranus (I played Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Pluto) Collect all the jewels on the planets and Dr.Light will create an item to reduce the energy use of your weapons. If you lose all your lives three times in the same level Dr. Light will upgrade your Mega-Arm. Collect the P chips to buy items at Dr.Light's lab (see Items/Tools section for more).

	Terra : fight Terra attacks you (but he's just too weak haha). Use Mega-Arm to beat him. weapon : spark-chaser (pic)
Dr.Wily ? Terra is dead and MegaMan thinks his job is done... but no ! A strange "star" appears : -MM: I should have defeated all the stardroids. What? What's that star?... Wait... it's moving... No! It can't be! Wily?! Is he behind this?! [Wily fires at MegaMan] Oops! That was close! Hit the jets, Rush! Let's go! - picture. You then go through a nice Rush-space-flight level and reach the space-station.
	Dr.Wily : 1st contact Wily's giant space-station, he fires missiles and a giant laser. Use Mega-Arm (well, Mega-Rush) and hit the laser-canon. Once you have destroyed the laser-cannon you can enter in Wily's space-station.

Four old friends from GameBoy MegaMan 4 are back:
Enker, Quint, Punk & Ballade.
Use Mega-Arm to beat them (maybe Salt-water(ne) against Enker and Photon-missile(ma) vs Quint).

Robots Revenge

Classic teleporter room, you must kill all 8 robots again.
Here is who's where :

Arms

2 arms try to punch you on the head. Use Mega-Arm to hit wrist when eyes are open.

Dr.Wily

Avoid missiles, destroy gravity reverser, shoot at time bombs so they are forced up against machine when they are about to explode.

Wily Escapes ?

When you defeat Dr.Wily, he flies away, and awakenes an ancient mega-strong combat-robot: Sunstar, but Sunstar fires at Wily's UFO...

W: "Behold MegaMan, I have awakened the ancient weapon Sunstar! Its Nova weapon will destroy you! Sunstar, destroy MegaMan!" [Sunstar fires at Dr.Wily] "What?!? You fool! How dare you attack the mighty Dr.Wily!"
S: "You are... MegaMan... I am Sunstar... the doomsday weapon... I must destroy all inferior life forms!"

The End

Sunstar is not dead, he's just a bit "out of order".

M: "Are you ok? Here, grab my shoulder. I'm sure you can be fixed at Dr.Light's lab."
S: "MegaMan... why? Why are you helping me?"
M: "Because we are both robots."
S: "Yes. And we were both created to fight!"
M: "No, you're wrong! I only fight when I am forced to protect the world from those who would pit machines against man. I believe humans and robots can live in peace!"
S: "Maybe... but I will never know. My fusion reactor is going critical and when it does, it will destroy this entire fortress."
M: "Sunstar..."
S: "Leave now!"

MegaMan then escapes using Rush-Jet, and we see the space-station explode. The game then ends with a classic "MegaMan walks home" sequence.. wait, no! Dr.Wily is here ! he wants to kill MegaMan (M: "Wily! You survived?!" - W: "Curse you, MegaMan! This war ends now!") but his ship falls into pieces and he has to surrender (nice surprise to have this 'cut' in the "walk home" sequence).
